Owen Sound Ribfest 2025 Presented by Ontario Festival Group will take place at the Bayshore Community Centre, convenient for area residents and visitors from all over.

Featuring 5 of North America’s Best Rib Teams ready to serve you, your friends and family Award-Winning Mouth-Watering BBQ Smoked Ribs, Tender Pulled Pork, Juicy Smoked Brisket, BBQ Chicken, Smoked Sausage and those huge Beef “Dino” Ribs. There will be a variety of festival foods like The Bloomin’ Onion, funnel cakes, poutines, and of course to wash it all down with nice cold beer.

Watch Live Music all weekend long featuring amazing Tributes to AC/DC, CCR, Tragically Hip, Bob Marley, plus a variety of local bands. This year we are proudly donating a portion of our gate sales to Grey Bruce Hospice.

FAQs

Is there a price for admission?

Yes. Ribfest does not use municipal funds and have to pay for the venues, including park space. The cost to organize a Ribfest is substantial and in the end we donate back to the community.

Are kids free?

Yes, kids 10 and under are free to attend.

Can I purchase food and beverages with credit/debit cards?

This is a cash event and majority of our vendors are cash-only; this includes Rib Teams, Food Trucks, etc.. However, certain marketplace vendors may accept credit/debit.

Are there ATMs available on-site?

Yes, there will be ATMs available for attendees who need cash for purchases from vendors or activities.

Are there Beef Ribs, Halal or Gluten Free options?

Absolutely! With today’s changing demands, we have a wide variety of meats that are gluten-free and halal. Most trucks have gluten-free BBQ sauce.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?

Outside food and drinks are not allowed, as Ribfest relies on food and beverage sales to support the event and give back to the community. However, exceptions may be made for special dietary needs or infant food/formula. Please check with event staff for more information.

Where can I enjoy an alcoholic beverage?

Ribfest features an inclusive space where guests can freely enjoy their meals with an alcoholic beverage; just not in the kids zone. Remember to bring your ID if you are under 30 years old.

What other food vendors will be at the festival?

Other than the rib teams we have The Bloomin’ Onion, Poutine Truck, Ontario Roasted Corn, Funnels Cakes, Tiny Tom Donuts, Coffee Express and other festival foods.

Does Ribfest allow pets?

Yes! Ribfest is a pet-friendly event, however, we ask you to please have your pets on a leash and pick up after them.

Is there smoking or vaping allowed at Ribfest?

No. Smoking and vaping are not permitted at Ribfest. Guests who would like to smoke or vape are asked to leave the event space to an allowable area outside the event area to smoke or vape. A stamp will be given for re-entry. This is an Ontario wide policy.
