Ida-Maria is a 19-year-old singer/songwriter, actress, and dancer currently studying Musical Theatre at Sheridan College. Professionally trained in vocals and dance since the age of six, she began her career with the JUNO-nominated group Girl Pow-R at just 12 years old, inspiring youth through music and social advocacy. She has appeared on YTV, Tiny Talent, and radio, and has released her original music, including her debut EP Today I…, available on all streaming platforms.
Drawing from her own experiences with anxiety, Ida-Maria is a passionate advocate for youth mental health. Through her @Youth2Youth Global initiative, she uses music, the arts, and open conversation to help reduce stigma and empower young people. Her mission is to inspire youth to share their stories, support one another, and raise awareness for mental health in communities across Ontario.
