The Beet’n Boomers were formed in 2009 and have been performing locally since then under the guidance of lead singer/guitarist Steve Charlton. Steve and Alan Masters (rhythm guitar and lead/backing vocals) are the 2 original members and the band now has Bruce Hodgson on drums and Jack Patriarch on bass and lead/backing vocals. The band is comprised mostly of retired professional musicians and perform for many local functions such as Music in the Park Sunday Concert Series in Alliston and Tottenham, Alliston Potato Festival, the Gibson Centre Mercer Pub, Alliston Ribfest and many private functions in the area. The band features music from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and beyond, as well as some upbeat country.
